Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare paperwork for accuracy.
- Sort, organize, and stock materials or products.
- Pick and fill orders accurately, ensuring the correct items and quantities.
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring they are well-protected and correctly labeled.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
- Contribute to team efforts by working collaboratively and supporting colleagues.
- Practice proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
