Join our innovative team at our San Francisco, California Distribution Center as a Distribution Center Associate! This is a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and timely fulfillment of orders. You will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving inbound products, meticulously organizing inventory, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, conducting thorough inspections of incoming merchandise, and managing the put-away process into designated warehouse locations. For outbound orders, you will carefully retrieve items, ensure they are packed securely and correctly labeled for transit. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment is a top priority, with strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment, and demonstrates strong teamwork skills. Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items according to customer order specifications.
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities.
- Apply safe lifting and material handling techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
