We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, ensuring efficient handling of goods. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. This involves unloading delivery trucks, carefully inspecting merchandise for any damage or discrepancies, and accurately logging inventory into our system. For outgoing orders, you will meticulously pick items from shelves, pack them securely for transit, and prepare them for dispatch. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is a top priority. All employees are expected to strictly follow safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and implementing safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. While prior warehouse experience is advantageous, we are keen to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to contributing to our logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Inspect goods upon arrival for quality and quantity accuracy.
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications.
- Pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Use proper lifting techniques when handling products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
