We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in our Columbus, Ohio warehouse! This role is critical for our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating our facility, locating and selecting items using scanning devices, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or paper-based pick lists.
- Locate products from various warehouse locations.
- Stage picked items at the packing or shipping stations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse flow.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
