Job Summary:
Join our operations in Houston, Texas, as an Inventory Clerk. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics and supply chain success. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining precise inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS). The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to accuracy. We prioritize a safe working environment and require all team members to adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar logistics role is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly record incoming inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Assist with put-away and replenishment of stock.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low stock or overstock situations.
  • Participate in physical inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a logistics-related role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and/or WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting, typically up to 40 lbs.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
