We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our fast-paced logistics team in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that keep our supply chain moving. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, unloading incoming shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and pack orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Inspect products for defects and damages.
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare products and packages for shipment.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (training provided if needed).
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, typically up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks related to Lifting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
