Become an integral part of our logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado as an Order Picker! This position is critical for our operational efficiency, focusing on the accurate retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. You will use scanners and pick lists to identify and gather items from warehouse shelves, ensuring that orders are precisely picked and prepared for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount. We are dedicated to maintaining a secure work environment and expect all associates to strictly follow safety protocols and utilize required PPE. This role demands individuals who are physically capable of handling the demands of the job, possess keen attention to detail, and can work effectively in a dynamic warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently and correctly.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order details.
- Prepare picked items for packing and shipment, ensuring proper handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse upkeep.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established performance standards for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed, such as stock put-away or cycle counts.
- Report any order discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and logistics.
- Perform occasional moderate Lifting as needed to access inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Basic knowledge of logistics concepts is a plus.
