Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock placement.
  • Maintain organized inventory records using warehouse management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
  • May require some lifting and moving of inventory.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and logistics.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some lifting.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
