We are actively recruiting Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse operations in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be at the heart of our logistics, responsible for ensuring that orders are accurately selected, meticulously packed, and prepared for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are essential as you navigate our warehouse, locate specific items, and ensure they are packaged to prevent damage. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from designated storage locations based on order requirements.
- Inspect picked items for quality and ensure they match order details.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets and ensure timely order processing.
- Perform tasks requiring regular Lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Understand and contribute to the overall logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or order fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Adherence to all Safety regulations.
