- Load and unload materials onto and off of trucks, pallets, and shelves.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Inspect and verify incoming materials against invoices, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Stack and arrange materials in an organized manner, ensuring proper placement for accessibility and safety.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory count and report any stock discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
- Participate in regular safety training and toolbox talks to stay informed about best practices in warehouse operations and logistics.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to immediate supervision.
Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
