We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Your proficiency in operating various types of forklifts is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of our **logistics** operations. Safety is our top priority, and all operators must adhere to strict **safety** protocols, including the correct use of **PPE** and maintaining equipment in excellent condition. This role requires precision, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse environment. While forklift operation is primary, there will be tasks requiring **lifting** of items up to 50 lbs when not operating the forklift. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including manual **lifting**.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or **logistics** environment.
- Excellent understanding of **safety** procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
