We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role is pivotal to the efficient functioning of our logistics and supply chain operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including receiving, sorting, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your accuracy and efficiency directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively. Safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure working environment. You will be required to strictly adhere to all safety regulations and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This physically demanding position involves frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of items, often weighing up to 50 pounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Efficiently sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Process customer orders by accurately picking and packing items.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the distribution center's logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Must wear required PPE consistently.
