Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in Madison, Wisconsin! We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to accurately and efficiently pick and pack customer orders. This is a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive the right products in a timely manner. You will be responsible for using our warehouse management system (WMS) to locate items, scan them for accuracy, and prepare them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Stage completed orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is beneficial.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
