About The Role UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Regional Manager to join our East Midlands Region, supporting sites across the region Within this role you will be working closely with an established senior leadership team including a Regional Manager and another deputy regional manager. The role is home based with regular travel to the following sites: HMP Stocken, HMP Whatton, HMP Sudbury, HMP Foston Hall, HMP Five Wells, HMP Rye Hill, HMP Onley, HMP Leicester, HMP Gartree and HMP Fosse Way.   Hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, core business hours. Salary This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £70,000 per annum - depending on experience.  Plus £4,000 car allowance and 10% discretionary bonus   How will we support you? • Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course • Competency framework • Regional and national career development opportunities • Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs • Support from the wider team Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.   Interviews for this role will take place early November 2025. What you'll be doing As our new Deputy Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the Heads of Healthcare, leading the team to provide innovative, energetic, patient focussed care Ensuring that all healthcare is being run in line with CQC requirements  Supporting mobilisations within the region, including before the contract start date, and the transition phase, ensuring that new sites are supported whilst they transition to PPG Being responsible for all sites in terms of compliance, training and performance Having line management and budget responsibility for the contracts you are accountable for  Working with the wider regional team - supporting the team and implementing new innovations Deputising for the Regional Manager as requiredIf you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning. Qualifications required Proven healthcare / custodial management experience Experience of budgetary control Experience of line management of a multi-disciplinary team Service development & management Management experience in a multi-site organisation Experience of contract management and negotiation Experience of Projects and or programme management  Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience working regionally Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
