The Role This is a nationwide Product Specialist position, ideally suited to someone based in Leinster, covering hospitals across Ireland.
You will be responsible for promoting and supporting a critical care portfolio, including diagnostic solutions and associated consumables, working closely with clinical and procurement stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include: Managing and growing existing hospital accounts while identifying new opportunities Providing clinical education and in-theatre/ward support where required Engaging with consultants, nurses, clinical specialists, procurement, and hospital management Supporting product evaluations, training sessions, and implementation Delivering a high level of technical and clinical expertise to customers This is a consultative, relationship-driven role with a strong emphasis on education and clinical credibility.

The Person You may come from either a sales or clinical background: Option 1
- Sales Background: Proven track record in medical device or healthcare sales Experience selling into hospitals / secondary care in Ireland Ideally exposure to critical care, cardiology, or diagnostics Option 2
- Clinical Background: Nurse or clinical professional with experience in cardiology, ICU, theatre, or acute care Keen interest in transitioning into a commercial, education-focused role Strong communication skills and commercial awareness Key traits: Driven, credible, and relationship-focused Comfortable in clinical environments Strong presenter and educator The Package Base Salary: €55,000
- €60,000 Bonus: €20,000 OTE Company Car Lunch Allowance: €12 per day (tax-free) Pension Scheme Life Assurance & Income Protection 23 Days Annual Leave + Public Holidays Laptop & Mobile Location: Nationwide role with a preference for candidates based in Leinster (Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Louth), with regular travel across Ireland.
