What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of experience with AWS in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying Docker images.
- Proficiency in managing Kubernetes workloads on AWS EKS.
- Experience with Confluent or Kafka, including Helm chart creation.
- Expertise in Jenkins Core and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Monitoring tools knowledge such as CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk Cloud.
- UNIX operating systems and shell scripting prowess.
- IAM and federated SSO management in a cross-account AWS environment.
- Strong communication skills with a knack for problem-solving and automation.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in designing scalable microservices-based applications in AWS.
- Technical leadership experience guiding Site Reliability Engineers/Cloud Engineers.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
- Familiarity with Git and distributed version control systems.
- Understanding of the agile software development lifecycle, with Kanban experience.
