Salary Details

Unqualified Salary: Starting at £24,604.58, with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 including sleep-in shifts.

Qualified Salary: Starting at £27,107.08, with potential earnings up to £34,851.08 including sleep-in shifts.

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Poole. Here, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values your individuality. Our staff receive training in Developmental Trauma and therapeutic parenting, equipping you to provide the best possible support to our young people.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with children and young people, understanding the unique challenges they face.
  • Be flexible with your availability, working 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
  • Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with the children.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, accepting guidance and direction.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests and skills of our young people.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a full UK driving license and a car for travel purposes.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Show a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
