We are currently seeking a Dispatch/Inside Sales personnel for our Jennmar Utah Wire Mesh facility located in Tooele, Utah. Employee processes, schedules, and transmits instruction to truck drivers to transport finished products to customers in the mining and tunneling industries. Employee interacts with customers, sales staff, and plant management personnel to establish a working relationship with the customer base via mail, telephone, electronic, or personal communication to provide effective response to product/service inquiries and to address customer issues through research and resolution of complaints. Education/Experience: Secondary School Diploma Required One-to-Two (1-2) Years Dispatching or Customer Service Experience Preferred Qualifications: Personable, outgoing communication skills to converse with diverse groups of people Planning/detail-oriented organizational skills to prioritize work activities and use time efficiently to ensure work completion within required time frame Customer first mindset. This person will be a spokesperson for the company. Customer intimacy and interaction is key Capability of communicating regularly with Sales people and Operations. This individual will help guide the production schedule and help operations meet shipping expectations for the customer. Ability to respond promptly to internal and external requests for service and assistance Quality control competency to self-monitor accuracy and thoroughness and apply feedback to ensure quality performance Clerical perception to enter and verify dispatch/customer service transactions, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized dispatching system Detail-oriented and well-organized in communication
we have many part numbers to deal with Dependability to be consistently at work and on time "Team" mentality with the ability to lead others and manage competing work demands Light/medium (5-20 lbs) lifting capability Responsibilities: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate and dispatch truck drivers according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations. Cultivate and maintain great working relationships with trucking companies and brokers. Advise truck drivers as to route information for new customers or unfamiliar delivery locations. Answer customer inquiries and investigate customer complaints regarding transportation, delivery, or quality of company's products and services. Arrange for refund, exchange, and credit for returned merchandise. Perform data management and order entry tasks. Help with inventory management and ensure inventory is accurate.
