*About the Role:*
The VPK Lead Teacher plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of students by providing high-quality language, math and cognitive instruction for children 3-5 years and fostering a loving and positive learning environment. This position involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans The VPK Lead Teacher will also mentor and support teacher assistants ensuring that best practices are shared and adopted throughout the team.
* Qualifications:
* DCF 45 hours required
* Florida Staff Credential Required
* VPK instructor coursework
* VPK Fast Assessment instruction
* Fun and enthusiastic personality
* Unconditional love for all students
* Having an understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices for the birth -5 year old population
*Responsibilities and Skills:*
* Create and implement lesson plans from our Frog Street Curriculum.
* Teach toward the Fllorida Standards
* Provide a safe, caring, loving, and inviting learning environment for the children
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff for the student's success
* Being adaptable to meet diverse learning styles
* Professionally communicate with families
* Be a team player
* Being Flexible
* Keeping a clean, neat and attractive room
* completing required assessments on the children
