We are looking for a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this vital role, you will be responsible for all aspects of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. Your duties will include verifying order contents, selecting appropriate packaging, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Logistics environment. You will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and the importance of Safety is essential. This role involves moderate physical activity, including the regular Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs. You will be expected to consistently use all required PPE to ensure your safety and the safety of others. We are committed to fostering a safe workplace and providing comprehensive training on handling and packing procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Verify order details against shipped items.
- Select and apply appropriate packaging materials for different products.
- Create and affix shipping labels and documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE throughout the workday.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting and handling of shipments.
