À propos du poste  

Relevant du VP Finance, l’Assistant(e) Contrôleur(e)  planifie, organise et supervise l’ensemble des opérations comptables pour une division de l’entreprise. Ce rôle stratégique assure l’intégrité des données financières, la rigueur du contrôle comptable et la qualité du suivi financier, tout en contribuant activement à l’optimisation des processus et à la prise de décision. 

Responsabilités clés  

• Produire les états financiers mensuels et effectuer des analyses de performance 
• S’assurer que toutes les écritures comptables sont correctement enregistrées 
• Développer et améliorer les politiques et procédures comptables 
• Assurer le respect des lois fiscales 
• Veiller à l’application des contrôles internes et implanter des mesures correctives au besoin 
• Participer à la planification budgétaire, à l’analyse et au suivi des budgets 
• Préparer des rapports financiers (budgets, prévisions de trésorerie, indicateurs de performance) 
• Participer à la préparation du dossier de vérification externe et agir comme personne ressource lors des audits annuels 
• Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe liée au poste 

Profil recherché  

Formation  

• Baccalauréat en comptabilité 
• Titre CPA en cours (atout) 

Expérience  

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en comptabilité 
• Expérience en implantation de systèmes comptables manufacturier (atout) 

Compétences  

• Bonne maîtrise de la planification financière (budgets, prévisions, analyses) 
• Connaissance des normes comptables 
• Connaissance du système Sage 300 (atout) 
• Excellente maîtrise d’Excel 
• Forte capacité d’analyse, esprit critique et de synthèse 
• Rigueur et intégrité 
• Excellentes habiletés de communication et relations interpersonnelles 
• Capacité à planifier, organiser et gérer les priorités 
• Adaptabilité et aisance dans un environnement en évolution

About the Role  

Reporting to the VP Finance, the Assistant Controller  plans, organizes, and oversees all accounting operations for a division of the company. This strategic role ensures the integrity of financial data, the rigor of accounting controls, and the quality of financial reporting, while actively contributing to process optimization and decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Prepare monthly financial statements and perform performance analysis 
• Ensure all accounting entries are accurately recorded 
• Develop and improve accounting policies and procedures 
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations 
• Monitor internal controls and implement corrective actions as needed 
• Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and budget monitoring 
• Prepare financial reports (budgets, cash flow forecasts, key performance indicators) 
• Support external audit processes and act as a key resource during annual audits 
• Perform other related duties as required 

What We’re Looking For  

Education  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 
• CPA designation in progress (asset) 

Experience  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting 
• Experience implementing accounting systems in a manufacturing environment (asset) 

Skills  

• Strong knowledge of financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, analysis) 
• Understanding of accounting standards 
• Experience with Sage 300 (asset) 
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities 
• High level of integrity and attention to detail 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong organizational and priority management skills
