Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced technical leader to step into the role of Lead Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Services. This senior individual contributor position is crucial in steering the technical strategy and customer engagement for our Integration Services practice. The Lead Architect will be our top subject matter expert in rack-scale integration, taking the reins of the end-to-end technical relationship with our largest and most strategic customers. This is a critical role as we embark on our next phase of growth. You will play a pivotal role in onboarding significant rack-scale customers, establishing standards for our engagement and delivery approach. Collaborating with sales, engineering, and service delivery teams, you will help shape our integration capabilities and ensure that every customer experience is marked by excellence and substantial technical insight. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing or expanding an integration services practice, a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, and expertise in AI/ML hardware, coupled with the executive presence to engage with senior technical and business leaders confidently. Role Description Strategic Technical Leadership Act as the principal subject matter expert and technical authority for the Integration Services practice, defining our architectural vision.
Define and continually enhance the technical strategy for integration services, encompassing reference architectures and delivery standards.
Represent the organization at executive briefings, industry events, and strategic customer engagements as a senior technical voice.
Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in rack-scale computing, AI infrastructure, and next-generation data center design.
Customer Onboarding & Executive Engagement Own the technical onboarding journey for large-scale strategic customers from the initial engagement to the production handoff.
Lead design reviews and architecture sessions with customer engineering and leadership teams.
Act as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor during customer onboarding, ensuring that commitments are fulfilled and expectations exceeded.
Spearhead engagement protocols that set a new standard for onboarding future enterprise and hyperscale customers.
Identify technical blockers, dependencies, and risks proactively, driving swift cross-functional resolutions.
Advise customers on best practices, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and SHI capabilities.
Technical Presales & Advisory Provide expert technical advisory on rack-scale designs, infrastructure architecture, and AI/ML hardware selection.
Lead the creation of technical proposals, solution architectures, and statements of work for complex engagements.
Serve as a resource for presales discussions across infrastructure, networking, storage, and AI workloads.
Assess and qualify new opportunities from a technical feasibility perspective.
Provide oversight for domain presales and SME teams responsible for detailed solution artifacts.
Sales Partnership & Revenue Impact Work closely with the sales team as a strategic technical counterpart, influencing pipeline development and deal strategy.
Engage in customer-facing meetings, technical deep-dives, and proof-of-concept sessions alongside account executives.
Translate customer requirements into actionable plans for integration services and engineering teams.
Create and maintain executive-level sales materials, reference architectures, and technical documentation for the practice.
Operational Excellence & Practice Development Foster a culture of excellence, setting high standards for integration deliverables and communications.
Drive improvements in integration processes and service offerings based on feedback and experiences.
Mentorship of junior technical team members to strengthen the integration services organization.
Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to inform future development priorities.

Ability to identify and manage technical specifications by engaging with stakeholders - Intermediate

Capability to write and maintain code in various languages for automation purposes - Intermediate
Understanding of infrastructure components and orchestration tools - Intermediate
Experience in developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and driving professional service revenues - Intermediate
Extensive background in large-scale IT project design and deployment - Intermediate
Other Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years in technical sales, solutions architecture, or integration services within data center or IT infrastructure.
Deep expertise in rack-scale integration, including server, storage, and networking hardware design.
Track record of leading complex customer onboarding for enterprise or hyperscale accounts.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, GPU platforms, and cooling solutions.
Ability to engage C-level stakeholders on both technical and business topics with ease.
History of influencing revenue outcomes through technical sales leadership.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in building or scaling an integration services practice at a large integrator or OEM.
Hands-on experience across the full integration lifecycle, including quality assurance and logistics.
Familiarity with DCIM tools and infrastructure automation frameworks.
Relevant certifications in vendor technologies (e.g., Dell, HPE, Cisco).
Experience working with hyperscale or large public sector customers.
Background in launching new service lines or developing go-to-market strategies.
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000, inclusive of base salary and bonus. Compensation will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
