Experience leading teams to deliver dependable and robust solutions.
Familiarity with building highly concurrent systems and a good understanding of REST API design.
Demonstrated experience with large projects that have a lasting impact on a system or team.
A proactive mindset, capable of identifying customer challenges.
Ability to effectively align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong technical acumen and good judgment in prioritizing tasks.
Proven ability to tackle complex engineering challenges that meet team objectives.
Excellent mentoring skills for junior developers, leading technical initiatives and system enhancements.

Experience in the financial services sector.
Experience during a rapid growth phase in a company (e.g., from startup to mid-size).
Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
Experience with blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Proficient in Golang, Python, Docker, SQL, or Postgres.
Experience building financial, high-reliability, or security systems.
Familiarity with crypto activities, such as engaging with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and interacting with dApps or blockchain services.

The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, depending on location. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity options, and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
