Seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. Your duties will include managing inventory records, analyzing stock levels, and reporting on inventory performance. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper receiving, storage, and shipping procedures are followed. A strong understanding of inventory management systems (IMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. You will contribute to optimizing warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve issues independently. Adherence to all safety protocols is a must, including proper material handling and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and gloves. The ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required.
