We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that we meet customer expectations for timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will work in a fast-paced setting and collaborate with a dedicated team. Strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners to locate inventory and record picked items.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items carefully into appropriate containers for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counting as needed.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards for order picking and packing.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
