We are looking for a skilled and client-focused technology professional to join our Technical Alignment team. In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site and remote technology advisor for a portfolio of managed clients — conducting structured assessments, documenting findings, driving remediation, and building trusted relationships with client stakeholders. This is not a traditional break/fix help desk role. You will own the health and alignment of client environments, working proactively rather than reactively. You will represent Frontline as the face of our service — and your work directly shapes client outcomes and retention. Key Responsibilities
•
Conduct regularly scheduled on-site and remote technology alignment assessments across a portfolio of SMB clients •
Evaluate client environments against Frontline's technical standards across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, backup/DR, endpoint management, and security •
Document findings accurately and thoroughly in IT Glue; maintain complete, current client environment records •
Analyze assessment data and produce clear, actionable reports for vCIO/QBR review and client-facing delivery •
Identify gaps, risks, and remediation priorities; create and track remediation plans through to completion •
Interface professionally with client IT contacts, operations managers, and executives — communicating findings and recommendations in business terms •
Perform proactive maintenance tasks including patch validation, account audits, policy reviews, and backup verification •
Respond to escalations from the service desk and assist with projects requiring on-site presence •
Collaborate with the vCIO/service leadership team on technology roadmaps and client strategy •
Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of Frontline's internal standards library and SOPs What We Offer
•
Competitive salary commensurate with experience •
Structured onboarding and ongoing technical training •
Exposure to a broad range of client environments and technology stacks •

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA/conditional access •
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, or similar) •
Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to translate technical findings into clear client-facing language •
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple client environments simultaneously •
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client site visits Preferred: •
Experience with MSP toolsets: RMM (Datto RMM), PSA (AutoTask), documentation (IT Glue), MDR (Rocket Cyber) •
