What You'll Do You will lead or contribute to virtual teams that drive the design, development, and deployment of products from conception to distribution. Responsibilities include coordinating interdepartmental activities to ensure projects are completed on time. You will collaborate with our field organization to support customers in successfully implementing Oracle products and services, aligning their technology solutions with business objectives. Your excellent communication skills will be critical for engaging with various stakeholders through written communication, video presentations, and visual aids. As a member of Oracle's Architecture Community, you'll actively share and develop reference architectures in a supportive setting where you can seek assistance and offer your expertise. Continual development is essential, and you'll have the chance to dedicate time to staying current with new technologies and Oracle's offerings, while remaining aware of industry trends. Responsibilities Quickly assess complex systems and applications, mapping them to cloud architectures and solutions. Have a solid grasp of cloud architecture and hybrid on-premise/cloud designs. Understand networking, security, resilience, and connectivity in cloud solutions. Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills, engaging effectively with all management levels. Demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills, building virtual teams to achieve architectural goals. Engage and influence senior leaders effectively. Beyond your technical skills, a comprehensive understanding of technical and business aspects of Snowflake and Databricks is crucial. The following technical skills will enhance your suitability for this role: A deep knowledge of IT systems and applications. Experience in defining and implementing best practices, particularly in cloud environments. Outstanding problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex challenges. Familiarity with Oracle databases and understanding of database concepts, technologies, tools, and capabilities. Expertise in architecting high availability solutions using Oracle Database, Data Guard, RAC, and similar technologies. Knowledge in upgrading and migrating complex multi-tier systems with minimal outages. Experience in building disaster recovery and failover capabilities, including multi-cloud deployments. Hands-on experience with cloud deployments; familiarity with Oracle OCI is preferred. Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Java or Python, with working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. You will be recognized as a professional expert within the company and industry, leading strategic initiatives for new products and processes. You will serve as a primary consultant on significant projects that influence the organization’s long-term strategy. This role may require compliance with specific immunization and occupational health mandates for customer-facing positions. Compensation details provided apply to specific locations. The US hiring range is from $139,400 to $291,800 annually, with potential eligibility for bonuses, equity, and deferred compensation.
