The Product Management Business Analyst - Master Reference Data will serve as the central point of contact between the Product and Operations area SMEs and the Master Reference Data team. This role is integral to the overall MRD Product team and reports directly to the Security Master Product Owner Director. The Business Analyst will collaborate with the Security Master PO and business units to plan, prioritize, gather, and refine business requirements supporting the execution of requirements analysis, documentation, and enhancements delivery. In addition, the Product Management Business Analyst will conduct reviews and prioritize work for the development team, ensuring alignment with the Business As Usual (BAU) multiyear delivery roadmap that spans across Legacy and Modern platforms for Security Master Reference data. Your primary responsibilities include: Analyze change requirements for the existing Security Master product integrations in order to deliver future state modernized or enhanced business processes Refine and clearly document scope of project deliverables Develop business requirements in collaboration with Data Stewards, Product and Operations teams and provides input to Product demos Work with across Product and AD teams to further refine requirements that have been captured and ensure story meets the definition of done Organize business requirements into Epic's and groomed stories and maintains the product backlog Participate meaningfully as a core member of the BAU agile squads, including attending stand-ups, grooming sessions and other agile ceremonies, documenting user stories, and tracking and reporting on relevant project metrics Understand priority for delivery and achieve agreement with Business and Technology Conduct review sessions with subject matter experts (functional/technical) turning session feedback into groomed stories for Agile Development Delivery Work closely and collaboratively with Product Owner and Business to prioritize and negotiate timing of business deliverables and challenges legacy enhancements balancing requests vs. future modernization roadmaps Manage independently assigned projects, through the life cycle from initiation to closing Support the strategic expansion and use case definition of Security data in snowflake **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.** Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of related experience Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience Talents needed for success: Demonstrate business analysis and/or process improvement skills necessary to provide business-engineering, analytical, and architectural services to transition business requirements into enterprise solutions Expertise in financial services (Equities/Fixed Income/Clearing & Settlement) and more specifically in Security Reference data is preferred Experience working in Agile environment and knowledge of Jira Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to think strategically to develop processes, tools and frameworks that help ensure effectiveness across a variety of customers Ability to work collaboratively by building consensus and influencing decision making to foster forward progress with projects and initiatives Excellent organizational skills, coupled with ability to be versatile and flexible Sound business judgment and the ability to work successfully across all levels of management Must have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint (presentation decks), Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation) and SharePoint Management We offer top class training and development for you to be an asset in our organization!
