You'll have the opportunity to develop and manage cloud data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and enable analytics through advanced data modeling and robust SQL capabilities. Collaborating closely with agile teams, you will implement scalable and resilient architectures on Azure and other cloud platforms, ensuring reliability and performance while maintaining effective communication with both technical and business partners. $58.00 to $68.00/hr. W2 Key Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative data services that support compliance and risk applications. Build and manage data pipelines in Azure Data Factory that integrate various data sources and APIs. Implement ETL/ELT processes and scheduling using Azure Data Factory and related tools. Collaborate with chapter leads, squad leads, tech leads, and architects to establish technical roadmaps. Create scalable cloud-based systems aligned with long-term strategic goals. Understand and translate detailed requirements into solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Conduct deep data analysis across multiple database platforms using advanced SQL. Apply best practices in data modeling for relational and dimensional models. Engage in DevOps practices to develop, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and services. Partner with cross-functional teams to convert business analytic needs into effective data solutions. Prioritize resiliency and reliability across all data platforms and pipelines. Effectively communicate technical challenges, potential solutions, and recommendations to stakeholders. Take ownership and accountability while adapting to a dynamic workload. Experience Requirements: 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analysis, data warehouses, and data lakes. Strong SQL skills with a background in multiple database platforms. Proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle SQL and PL/SQL or similar RDBMS. Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions, preferably Snowflake or equivalent. Expertise in ETL/ELT data movement and scheduling, specifically with Azure Data Factory. Hands-on experience in building and managing Azure Data Factory pipelines with diverse data sources and APIs. Familiarity with data modeling tools, such as PowerDesigner. Experience in agile, collaborative environments adhering to design and coding best practices. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and deploying pipelines in cloud-native infrastructure. Proficient in AWS or Microsoft Azure services, such as Lambda or S3. Adept at translating business analytic needs into tangible technical data solutions. Focus on resiliency, reliability, and performance optimization. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate for data integration (preferred). Experience in data architecture and database design (preferred). Programming or scripting experience in Python, Unix, or Java (preferred). Education Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field, such as Computer Science or Engineering. AWS Certification (preferred).
