Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of AI data pipelines that unify structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, employing pre-processing techniques for optimal readiness.
Develop AI-driven systems that elevate our data capabilities while adhering to industry best practices.
Implement efficient Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and integrate them with our enterprise data infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate solutions into operational processes and systems across various functions.
Stay abreast of advancements in Generative AI and apply cutting-edge technologies to enhance our systems.
Design and maintain scalable real-time data streaming pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, and Spark.
Create data domains and products to support different consumption archetypes, including Reporting, Data Science, and AI/ML.
Ensure the reliability and scalability of data pipelines through proactive monitoring and incident management.
Implement best practices in reliability engineering, focusing on fault tolerance and disaster recovery.
Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of data systems.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and sharing best practices across teams.
Develop graph database solutions that support complex data relationships within our AI systems.
Apply Generative AI solutions to tackle insurance-specific data challenges.
Partner with architects and stakeholders to craft and execute the vision for AI and data pipelines, maintaining the integrity and scalability of our environment.
Skills Required: Extensive technical knowledge of AI solutions leveraging cloud technologies.
Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
Proficient in collaboration and fostering relationships across teams.
Experience in mentoring junior data engineers.
Knowledge of industry design patterns for AI.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills with a transformative mindset.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into strategic business solutions.
Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
8+ years of experience in data engineering, including expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and cloud technologies (AWS, Google, Azure).
1+ years focusing on data engineering for Generative AI technologies.
Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions.
Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for large language models.
Experience with RAG pipelines and integrating retrieval mechanisms.
Proficient in handling unstructured data for Generative AI applications.
Knowledge of vector and graph databases, implementation and optimization.
Experience in establishing data governance practices and quality standards.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multi-cloud hybrid AI solutions.
AI-related certifications.
Familiarity with the P&C or Employee Benefits industry.
Knowledge of natural language processing and computer vision technologies.
Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications in Generative AI.
Compensation: The annual base pay range for this role is $135,040 - $202,560. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as performance and experience. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes short-term and annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
