In this key position, you will work closely with software engineering, data science, and product management teams to develop scalable data solutions that enhance user experience and drive growth strategies for our extensive user base and internal community. You will tackle exciting data challenges at an unmatched scale, becoming part of a distinguished data engineering community that focuses on skill growth and career advancement. Key Responsibilities: Design and oversee data architecture for major projects, while assessing operational cost-benefit tradeoffs effectively.
Enhance frameworks to optimize data logging efficiency and work with data infrastructure to troubleshoot any issues.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs and effectively visualize key data insights.
Establish and manage Service Level Agreements for all data sets within your domain.
Develop and implement security models that align with privacy standards, ensuring compliance, addressing data quality issues, and refining governance processes.
Create, launch, and manage complex data models and visualizations that support various use cases across different products.
Resolve complex data integration challenges using optimal Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources.
Continuously improve and maintain existing production processes, optimizing complex code with advanced algorithms.
Enhance pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to streamline data artifact development.
Guide product and cross-functional teams in identifying data opportunities that drive significant results.
Mentor team members by providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 7 years of experience working with data in roles such as data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or similar.
At least 7 years of expertise in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and proficiency in one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. degree in a STEM field.
Compensation: $177,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Industry:
