We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and maintenance. This role requires expertise in various networking technologies and protocols, as well as a commitment to ensuring network security and performance. The Network Engineer will play a critical role in supporting our infrastructure and enhancing our network capabilities.
*Responsibilities*
* Design, implement, and manage network solutions that meet organizational needs.
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as PRTG.
* Configure and maintain DHCP services to ensure efficient IP address management.
* Ensure network security by implementing best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
* Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, policies, and procedures.
* Optimize Quality of Service (QoS) settings to prioritize critical applications.
* Perform regular updates and maintenance on operating systems including Cisco, Fortinet and HP
* Utilize shell scripting for automation of routine tasks and processes.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in IT networking.
* Strong knowledge of IP networking concepts and protocols.
* Familiarity with Cisco IOS
* Experience with DHCP configurations and management.
* Understanding of network security principles and practices.
* Proficiency in using monitoring tools like PRTG for performance analysis.
* Knowledge of QoS techniques to manage bandwidth effectively.
* Experience with APIs for system integration is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
