We are seeking an Order Picker for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This is a crucial role within our logistics network, responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving items from warehouse storage. You will be tasked with reading pick lists, navigating warehouse aisles, identifying and selecting the correct products, and staging them for packing and shipment. Exceptional accuracy and efficiency are essential for customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is a top priority, and all team members must strictly follow company safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting (up to 45 lbs), standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from assigned warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Ensure picked items match order details precisely.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Capability to perform lifting up to 45 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Capacity to work at a consistent pace in a busy environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
