This is a 36-month contract with probable extensions Responsibilities: Develop secure, scalable, and user-centric web applications Design responsive, WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant front-end interfaces Build robust back-end systems supporting workflows (allocation, planning, case management) Integrate with external public-sector systems (e.g., Department of Education, HSE) Ensure GDPR-compliant data handling and strong security measures Provide authentication, access control, encryption, and audit capabilities Deliver full technical documentation (architecture, APIs, deployment, user guides) Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, accessibility, performance) Deploy on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) with CI/CD pipelines Offer ongoing support, maintenance, and SLA-based incident management Deliver training and knowledge transfer for staff Ensure compliance with public sector standards and accessibility regulations Meet performance metrics (uptime, user satisfaction, timely delivery, issue response) Requirements: Experience of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
Experience of server-side development (Node.js, .NET, or equivalent).
Experience of secure API development (REST/GraphQL).
Experience of SQL and/or NoSQL data stores.
Experience of CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud deployment pipelines.
Experience of Government grade security and logging standards.
Expertise in designing systems that support data collection and reporting.
