OXOS is searching for a
Software Engineering Lead, OXOS Platform
to join our high-growth company. You will join a dynamic team of passionate people who work daily to change how radiographic diagnostics are delivered. OXOS's mission is to design, build, and own the industry's leading cloud-based radiographic solution, the OXOS Platform, transforming access to diagnostic imaging and data. OXOS Platform will empower OXOS stakeholders to securely store, review, and analyze radiographic data while integrating AI-powered diagnostics to drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineering Lead will lead the implementation of the platform, managing the backend Java-based Spring Boot application, Dart-based Flutter frontend, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. This role requires hands-on expertise to design, implement, and review Platform's architecture while building and managing a high-performing remote team. The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Foster clear communication, effective workflows, and timely deliverables, creating a collaborative and productive team culture.
Ensure the platform complies with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards, integrates secure software practices aligned with OWASP, and incorporates automated testing and deployment pipelines for reliable and scalable solutions.
Responsible for the full technical implementation of the OXOS Platform, including the backend Java-based Spring Boot application, the Dart-based Flutter frontend, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Build and manage a high-performing remote team by fostering clear communication, collaboration, and accountability including designing workflows that ensure alignment across roles, establishing efficient project management practices, and maintaining a team culture that promotes engagement and retention.
Focus on timely delivery of deliverables, effective resolution of project blockers, and seamless onboarding processes to support team scalability and productivity.
Focus on implementing secure software development practices to protect sensitive data and system integrity while minimizing vulnerabilities.
Establish robust automated testing and deployment pipelines to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
High level of understanding with Java/Spring Boot, Google Cloud and SQL.
Experience with Flutter/Dart and Patrol.
Experience with CI/CD and TestContainers
Strong technical expertise in platform technology.
Proven leadership skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Attention to detail.
Deep understanding of software development methodologies.
