We’re now looking for a *Voice Engineer* to join our global team and play a key role in delivering technical excellence, platform reliability, and world-class partner support.
_*About the Role*_
This is a *dual role* combining technical project delivery with advanced platform support. You’ll work at the cutting edge of Access4’s platform, driving innovation while resolving complex escalations that impact our partners and customers.
Your work will span:
* *Escalations & TAC Support*: Resolve complex voice and platform incidents escalated from our Level 2 team.
* *Projects & Innovation*: Design solutions, implement proof of concepts, and deliver new technical initiatives.
* *Platform Reliability*: Maintain servers, SBCs, PBXs, monitoring systems, and ensure platform uptime of *99.999%*.
* *Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing*: Educate Level 2 engineers, build best practices, and create technical resources for our Partner Knowledge Base.
* *Continuous Improvement*: Review, refine, and automate systems to improve efficiency, resilience, and partner experience.
Your success will be measured by *uptime, SLA adherence, and on-time project delivery* — critical drivers of Access4’s global reputation.
_*What You’ll Bring*_
_Qualifications_
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
* Relevant vendor certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP Voice, Microsoft Teams Voice, Ribbon, etc.) are highly valued.
* Full working rights in the UK.
_Experience_
* 3–5+ years in a Voice Engineer or telecommunications role.
* Strong expertise with *SIP, VoIP, and telephony technologies*.
* Proven hands-on experience with *SBCs, PBXs, voice gateways, and UCaaS platforms* (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, etc.).
* Solid understanding of *TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and QoS*.
* Experience in *troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimising voice infrastructure*.
* Exposure to *vendor/carrier liaison* for issue resolution and service delivery.
