We are seeking a driven, high-energy Infrastructure Engineer at our Sprit Valley location in Duluth, MN. The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure and multiple platforms to ensure its reliability, security, and overall performance. The role focuses on continuous improvement and innovation across technology solutions, services and applications. This advanced-level position requires expertise in multiple areas of technology and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and operate infrastructure services such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Storage Platforms, Network, and other technology services, and to understand cost and licensing impacts.
Engineer and optimize core technologies such as Azure services (Entra, Intune, Storage, Purview, Power Platform, AI Foundry), Microsoft 365, RingCentral, endpoint security tools, and collaboration platforms while enforcing secure authentication and authorization patterns.
Design, build, and support enterprise data and AI platform infrastructure, enabling reporting, advanced analytics, regulatory compliance, automation, and production‑ready AI workloads with monitoring, guardrails, and scalability best practices.
Implement and support secure network connectivity across on‑prem and cloud environments, including routing, DNS, VPN, segmentation, firewalls, firmware updates, and network monitoring.
Manage the full lifecycle of cloud and platform services, including patching, upgrades, modernization, resiliency planning, capacity forecasting, and cost optimization.
Serve as a Tier 3 escalation resource, conducting root‑cause analysis, improving observability, maintaining audit‑ready documentation, and driving automation and standardization to strengthen operational resilience.
This role must adhere to all applicable credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
Five or more years of experience managing complex cloud environments; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Capable of communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of financial understanding.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, secure email gateways, network and communication services (e.g., RingCentral), and endpoint protection technologies.
Proficiency with the Windows operating system and strong skills using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to use Adobe Acrobat and database applications, with a demonstrated capacity to learn new software quickly.

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wage & Hour Details
Full-time
This is an exempt position
Starting pay range: $98,300 - $121,000 annual salary, pay commensurate with experience
