Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
Desktop Support Specialist
to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for technology, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware. Assist users with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applications). Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner. Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance. Support account setup, password resets, and access issues. Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing. Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed. Assist with new user onboarding and workstation setup. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, etc.) a plus. Hands-on experience managing on-premises Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), and Microsoft Intune. Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with guidance and training. Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
