We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale the data infrastructure that powers our analytics and business operations. In this role, you will design and maintain reliable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and deliver scalable solutions that support reporting, analytics, and cross-functional initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, IT, and analytics teams to develop efficient data platforms that enable teams to access accurate and timely insights. This role also involves mentoring other engineers, promoting best practices, and contributing to the continued evolution of our data environment. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex data challenges, thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building high-quality data systems that drive business impact. Qualifications: Snowflake: Stored procedures, deduplication, data pipelines, query optimization. SQL (Advanced): Core skill; heavy use of window functions and data modeling. AWS: Experience with Lambda, S3, and Kinesis. Streaming: Kinesis or Kafka. Python: Used with design team; ~20-25% of workload. CI/CD: Code deployment and automation. Data Engineering: Maintain and optimize data pipelines. Architecture: Design and build data systems. Vendor Integrations: manage two-way data flow between systems and stations.
