Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in Cedar Rapids, IA for a 13-week contract with the possibility of temp-to-hire. This position requires expertise in chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy and offers a Monday to Friday day-shift schedule, ideal for those seeking consistent weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance
  • Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans

  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and order entry

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current experience in chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy practice
  • Iowa pharmacist license preferred; candidates with the ability to obtain a temporary Iowa RPh license are also welcome
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy services
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, day shifts
