We are looking for a motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our busy logistics hub in San Jose. This dual-function role is essential for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for both receiving incoming inventory and preparing outgoing shipments with precision and care. Key duties include unloading delivery trucks, verifying product counts and quality, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for transit. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. Your dedication to safety is paramount; strict adherence to company safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times. This position involves regular lifting of items up to 60 lbs. Understanding the nuances of logistics and supply chain management will be beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify accuracy of deliveries against order documentation.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and use of PPE.
