Frontend Engineer, AWS QuickSight

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

With QuickSight, all users can meet varying analytic needs from the same source of truth through modern interactive dashboards, pixel-perfect reports, embedded analytics, and natural language queries.

With Amazon Q in QuickSight, business analysts and business users can use natural language to build, discover, and share meaningful insights in seconds, turning insights into impact faster.

In this role with Amazon Q in QuickSight, you will enhance and build new experiences powered by generative capabilities (Amazon Bedrock) that will improve customer productivity and power. Key job responsibilities

Help define front end architectures, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall user experience Contributing to defining best practices for front end development Collaborate with UX Designers and Product Managers Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of an autonomous team Write high-quality, efficient, testable code Mentor and support the growth of other developers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of agile software development methodology experience

• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
