DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Business Analyst 1 with PennDOT, you will be pivotal in driving system changes for the Driver and Vehicle Services management team. You will confidently collaborate with IT and business staff to support the applications of REAL ID, expertly resolve discrepancies, perform in-depth statistical data analysis, and conduct rigorous program testing. You will manage analytical tasks for various applications, meticulously documenting process changes and leading testing initiatives to enhance systems for driver licensing and vehicle registration. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive testing plans, analyzing results precisely, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of the State-to-State and REAL ID systems. Additionally, you will proactively investigate user-reported issues, document your findings thoroughly, and collaborate with business areas and vendors to implement impactful enhancements. As the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, you will provide exceptional help desk support while upholding the highest customer service standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations and driving continuous improvement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
This position may require weekends and holidays.
Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
