About the role

Are you passionate about project management, and experienced in business analysis?

As the Lead Business Analyst within Planning, Performance and Strategic Change (PPSC), youll be at the forefront of delivering the Universitys Strategy. Youll lead the PPSCs business analysis team, working on projects that improve our future direction by delivering on its strategic objectives.

You will work with a diverse range of senior colleagues on the scoping, composition and analysis of the portfolio of strategic projects. This information will support good governance, effective capital allocation and comprehensive risk management (across financial, operational, and reputational parameters) for the University. The aim is to deliver solutions through tangible programmes and projects, and offer assurance and benefits realisation across time, cost and quality factors.

You will

- Manage the elicitation and definition of objectives and requirements for high-priority, complex projects that impact strategic delivery across the University.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams of professional and academic colleagues across different functions and areas of the university to clarify project scope and understand benefits.
  • Work with Project Managers, Solution Architects and Change Managers to support project planning and develop robust plans for benefits realisation.
  • Engage with professional analysts throughout the institution to develop coherent technical approaches to business analysis, making a lasting impact on how we deliver success.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Present your deliverables and insights to the Project Board and other Executive Boards, ensuring alignment with the Universitys strategic goals.

    This position is offered on a full-time basis, for a fixed term of 1 year with an expected end date of 2 June 2026. We would also consider applicants who are interested in working on a part-time basis.
