Are you a detail-oriented and efficient individual looking for a rewarding role in Orlando, Florida? We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this position, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your ability to work quickly and accurately will be key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This role is essential to our logistics operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires focus, organization, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory using pick lists and handheld scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Transport packed orders to the shipping area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station and environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as receiving or stocking.
- Perform tasks involving moderate lifting and physical activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Understanding of basic logistics and shipping procedures.
