Join our thriving distribution center in Los Angeles, California, as an Order Picker! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately and efficiently pick and pack customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will navigate our warehouse using scanning devices and order lists to locate products, verify quantities, and prepare items for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of service. Working in a busy warehouse environment, you'll be a key player in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner and/or pick sheet.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Must be comfortable with manual labor and lifting items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product information.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet performance targets.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
