We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our dynamic warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is crucial for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, picking them according to order specifications, and then carefully packing them for transit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good manual dexterity, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse duties is a plus. Safety is a core value, and you will be required to adhere to all safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and standing. Responsibilities include using scanning devices to locate products, retrieving items from shelves, verifying order accuracy, packing items securely using appropriate materials, and preparing packages for shipping. You will also assist in maintaining an organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness. Your role is vital to our logistics and supply chain success.
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists and scanning equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate shipping materials.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and general warehouse area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management and stock put-away as needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals.
- Lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
