Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our state-of-the-art facility in Seattle, Washington. In this technical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. This includes troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with the installation of new equipment. A strong background in industrial maintenance or a related field is required. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring that our infrastructure supports seamless operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. We require strict adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves hands-on work and requires the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections of conveyors, automated systems, and other warehouse machinery, executing repairs, documenting maintenance activities, and collaborating with operational staff to minimize downtime. Understanding of warehouse logistics and workflow is beneficial.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards, including the use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to identify and address equipment needs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency and safety.
