This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse by maintaining and troubleshooting our advanced logistics systems, machinery, and equipment. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Your expertise will contribute directly to the overall success of our supply chain. Safety is paramount in our operations; you will be expected to follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must be comfortable with lifting and performing tasks that require physical dexterity. Experience with industrial equipment, automation, and control systems is highly desirable. - Perform routine maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Install and configure new equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and parts ordering.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Support the logistics team with technical expertise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with safety procedures and PPE.
- Physical ability to perform lifting and work in a warehouse environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
