Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists and scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and orderly picking area.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Meet established picking speed and accuracy targets.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise order fulfillment.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics safety standards.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive approach to tasks.
